Understanding Maika AI Credits

In its simplest form, Maika AI credits can be thought of as the universal currency within the Maika AI system. These credits are essential for unlocking all the features and capabilities of the tool.

When you sign up for a Maika AI account, you'll receive an initial balance of 200 credits/month. To get more credits, you have to upgrade your subscription plan.

How Credits Function

Credits play a pivotal role in various functions within Maika AI, including:
Automated text generation
Engaging in conversations with Maika GPT
Tasks requiring API processing

When you utilize features that necessitate credits, your credit balance will be deducted based on factors like the volume of content generated or the complexity of the task. It's important to note that auxiliary features such as text editing and proofreading do not consume credits.

Common Questions About Credits

1. How many credits you can get in each subscription plan?

For Free plan accounts, you'll receive 200 credits each month.

For Premium plan accounts, you'll receive 2000 credits each month. If you cancel your subscription, your account will be downgraded to Free plan when the current billing cycle ends.

According to the regulations from the credit provider, if you switch from the Premium package to the Free package, you need to wait for 01 cycle to continue receiving 200 free credits.

For example, if you purchase the Premium package on 07 Dec 2023, and then cancel the package on 27 Dec 2023, your Premium package will expire on 07 Jan 2024. However, you need to wait until 07 Feb 2024 to continue receiving 200 free credits per month.

2. Credit equivalency

One credit is approximately equivalent to generating 100 words (EN) using AI. Upon registering for a Maika AI account, you'll receive 200 free credits, allowing you to generate up to 20,000 AI words (EN) with Maika AI.

3. What should you do if you need more credits before the new billing cycle?

If you're subscribed to the Premium plan, you'll receive 2000 credits at the start of each billing cycle. In the event that you exhaust your credits before the new cycle begins and wish to continue using the service, you have the option to purchase a Pay-As-You-Go (PAYG) plan.

PAYG offers unlimited purchases within a month.
